Usually these requests are internal and direct to specific members, however this time we're looking for active community participants who'd like a position on the MyBB team to come forward to us.

Support Team Positions
We're looking for people who are dedicated to MyBB and have a solid understanding of the functionality of MyBB and have experience in managing a forum themself, an understanding of PHP and MySQL is not required however may be beneficial. You must be able to work well with other team members. You must be able to communicate clearly and correct in English.

Your primary position will be working as a part of our support team however you'll also have access to the MyBB development site and read access to the latest development code of MyBB - so yes, you'll have access to MyBB 1.4.

All we ask of you is that you're an active participant in both supporting other users with MyBB and can do so in a professional manner.

Development Team Positions
We're looking for people with a strong background in web development with PHP and MySQL as well as a solid understanding of how MyBB operates in both code and functionality to become an active particpiant in our development team, preferably having released MyBB plugins or modifications at some stage. Knowledge of other database management systems such as PostgreSQL and SQLite is also highly favourable. You must be able to work well with a team and work under project management.

You're primary position will be working with myself and the other developers to bring new releases of MyBB out. You'll have read/write access to the latest release of MyBB and our development site.

Your primary position will be working as a part of our support team however you'll also have access to the MyBB development site and read access to the latest development code of MyBB - so yes, you'll have access to MyBB 1.4.

All we ask of you is that you're an active participant in both supporting other users with MyBB and can do so in a professional manner.

Development Team Positions
We're looking for people with a strong background in web development with PHP and MySQL as well as a solid understanding of how MyBB operates in both code and functionality to become an active particpiant in our development team, preferably having released MyBB plugins or modifications at some stage. Knowledge of other database management systems such as PostgreSQL and SQLite is also highly favourable. You must be able to work well with a team and work under project management.

You're primary position will be working with myself and the other developers to bring new releases of MyBB out. You'll have read/write access to the latest release of MyBB and our development site.

This release also fixes over 30 identified issues with 1.2.7, some causing incorrect functionality of MyBB as well as other internally discovered problems with the post counting system introduced with 1.2.7. These bugs have been fixed to provide a more stable version of MyBB for public use.

What's added/changed in this version?
Setting to enable/disable the forum jump menus - useful for boards with a large number of forums.Additional plugin hooks have been added to both inc/class_moderation.php and the archive mode. (by request)
Information on upgrading, template changes and language changes can be found in the posts below. MyBB 1.1.x patches can also be found below.

If for some reason you cannot immediately update to this release:
We recommend applying the attached manual patch instructions, or patch plugin for the vulnerability found in MyBB 1.2.7. You should only consider these as temporary solutions and make the effort to upgrade to 1.2.8 as soon as possible.

To manually patch your 1.2.7 to fix these vulnerabilities please follow the following instructions:

Alternatively, you can use the following plugin. Upload it to inc/plugins/ and activate from your Admin CP --> Plugin Manager.
